Actually I had a really terrific Pizza in Petaluma a few years back.

Cali pizza sucked the one time I had it, but perhaps it's not fair to judge the whole state by a single joint in Fresno?  Iuno, I'd be very biased regardless since I'm from Chicago.

Judging all of California based on Fresno is like judging all cars based on a 1982 Plymouth Reliant.

I miss Romy already.confused_face.gif

Hey warren, jgray, eke, you guys think TMAC might consider a Diary Thread December? We already have one cheesy avatar done up it would be a shame to let it go to waste

I almost forgot, someone in Europe finally came out with an aftermarket lightening LOD cable. I'm surprised it took so long. Rather nice looking cable I have to admit.

Doesn't every cable need to have a licensed chip from Apple? I was under the impression Apple got a piece of every Lightning connector, correct?

Thin crust - I'm in this wink.gifcamp... firmly.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

AND Pineapple has NO place on Pizza. rolleyes.gif

Air & Water matters. New York State has some really good drinking water. My best three Pizza experiences:

NYC-Brooklyn-Queens-Bronx

New Haven, Conn

Chicago

That's what I thought too. On some of the Apple head blogs there were people commenting that as long as 3rd party manufacturers were using original Apple cables bought from Apple or their dealers Apple couldn't go after them for tearing a cable down, cannibalizing it, or dressing it up ergonomically. Only time will tell I guess. Who knows, maybe Apple will shut them down in a few weeks or maybe Apple won't care considering the maker is a small ma and pop operation.  I'm still surprised it took this long for someone to openly sell one though. Usually Apple 3rd party stuff gets pumped out by everyone and their dog within a few weeks of the handset/Mac hitting the store shelves. Heck I remember when the whispered new iPad hype was all the rage and manufacturers in Europe and China were showing off stuff like cases, screen protectors etc all based from specs they got from supposed leaked pics that were all over the net weeks before the iPad was even announced.

I'd back a Diary Thread December! And that cable looks yum-o; may add it to the mobile portfolio. If I were a dog I'd chew on that bad boy, most definitely! biggrin.gif

I'm tempted myself although I'd prefer the terminations to be right angled. Still, it would be nice looking bling on my CLAS rig. Now if only Apple would upgrade the Touch to 120 or 180 GB internal storage the old rig would really kick butt.

Monoprice has them on their website, and they claim it is "Certified". I was under the impression that Apple was going to license the intellectual property, so 3rd party builders could buy the part from an "authorized" supplier, and they could build product once Apple had "Certified" their factory. Maybe that sort of arrangement is now making some parts available?

Soooo...

Got both the Denon C300s and the HifiMan Waterline RE-400s... I have to say that even though the Denons are bulky as heck, I'm enjoying them way more than the Hifiman. I just feel they lack way too much "kick" with the tips I've tried... the Denon's bass sometimes can be very overpowering but with the complys they feel and sound excellent! Still, need more time to test... it's quite difficult for me to grasp the sound with IEMs as I am so used to "normal" headphones ;)

MF, slow down with the music recommendations please!!

(My notepad list is getting full with all this music I have never ever heard before!!! LOL!  ;-))

Don't worry, hang around this thread long enough and you'll be buying FitEar universals and fretting over customs in no time.

@a_rec/muppet/anyone

I can't watch your vid comparison atm and am tired. as in tired. But can you sum up the ex1k vs 7550? Think I'm going to buy an ex1k for ~$270-350 in the future.

Have only heard a quick snippet of what tangster's heard, but he's heard that people tend to say that the jump from the 7550 to 1k isn't worth it regarding price.
