I feel this might be a good solution...for swimsonny.

LOL, does he have that many?  I don't have nearly as many as some of you I'm sure, but it's getting to be far more than I thought I'd have.  I've got 23 right now, with another four coming within the month.  They're all so small and cute that I can't bear to part with them.

What do y'all think of these?

The top one looks useable, the bottom is a cufflink box right? If so it'll be too small unless you only have IEMs with detachable cables.

No you use the bottom one to store all the ear molds, comply tips, filters, tools to change them etc etc.

Yeah, you might be right.  I have no sense of relative scale here.  Just trying to find something that looks nice on the outside while being neatly compartmentalized on the inside.  I want them all to have nice little homes.  If I could, I'd try to source little pillows and bedspreads for them.

Also, I'm in a ridiculously good mood today for some reason.  Was finally able to help someone with a rec in the portables thread after days and days.  Made triple supremus.  Listening to Rick Springfield of all people.  And that's just what happened here at HF.  Might even go for a late night taco run later if I feel like putting up with the lines.  Silent, it's Tito's, you know the place.

EDIT:  Attention all US Diary Thread members... the UE600 is insanely good for only $50... just a heads up.

Try watch storage boxes. Many even come with the little pillows you can wrap the cable around.

Hope you're fine too Magick. If memory serves, think the storm's area hits some of the east coast?

Sorta Dear Diary,

Summer is definitely here. Maybe it's the insufferable heat cooking my brain, but summertime just has a certain feel to it. I always associate it with car rides home from campus as it's too hot to walk, the AC blasting at full force and the interior so hot you can't even touch it with bare skin. The perfect soundtrack to these drives consists of a gradual backward descent from the croons of Beach House to DIY bedroom pop like early Cold Cave and Blank Dogs to whatever it is Led Er Est and Frank (Just Frank) are. All the while summer makes itself oppressively know around you.

There's a certain distinct shade of blue in the skies compared to the fall, or maybe that's just the city's smog reacting to the increased temperatures. The city isn't a concrete jungle so much as a concrete ocean, stretching out as a flat expanse in every direction, a dull gray slab of urban sprawl giving way to the eventual expanse of suburbia. We've got green fields, but they're artificial constructs made by oil companies, small token patches of frisbee-scape to keep the employees from losing their minds along with their lunch hours.

When it's this hot out I just want to strip down to my underwear and stretch out across my bed with the ceiling fan set to maximum,

Might be doing that again this summer if there's an AC leak. Ceiling fans aren't enough. Practicing violin in the summer is horrible because of sweat. Have to get a fan and make it so that the wind doesn't really hit the violin.

When asked what my all-around favorite headphone of all time is, I typically answer the SR-007. Other headphones do certain things better, but for my tastes the SR-007 gets the most right most consistently. It's a headphone I find incredibly easy to live with in that it's extremely non-fatiguing and comfortable, and it's also among the most versatile due to its tonal balance. This translates into a headphone I can wear just about any day for hours on end.

I actually still prefer it to the SR-009. If I were to have a single headphone setup, it would likely be the SR-007 plugged into the LL2.

Thanks muppet

Liquid Laughter 2? That's one sweet name...

Sorta Dear Diary,

I was about to say something about the heat. It was 93F over here in North Louisiana, and humid as my shorts after a game of basketball. It also doesn't help that I have a car with leather seats and barely functioning AC.

Funny thing, I find it difficult to listen to warmer iems in the heat. They make me feel even worse. I prefer brighter signatures then. Strange.

I'm trying to develop an apartment complex for my IEMs.  They deserve to have nice little homes.  smile.gif  So.... you made it out alive then?

Ha. Nude is a slight overstatement.

However, when I go to New Orleans for mardi gras I try to stock up on the biggest, most intricate beads from the day parades, then "cash them in" on bourbon street at night. It's amazing what some girls will do for cheap trinkets...

There I was thinking it was an overstatement. Though given the state of girls over here on a normal night out, I shouldn't be so surprised.
