The diary entries of a little girl in her 30s! ~ Part 2 - Page 834

Just happened across this one, showing off Romanthony's production work...

That hi-hat, flying around like a ghost or a kitten... It's all so silly, and weirdly heavy at the same time. I have no idea why it cuts off short at the end.

a_recording: what he did tomorrow...

Styled his hair and kept it up but DID NOT cut his hair.

Oh, I'll probably have something different by then.  biggrin.gif  Satisfaction is fleeting.

Wait, it's satisfaction that's fleeting?  I thought it was glory.  Or was that supposed to be life?

On the train with the Skullcandy Navigators now. Suddenly the intensely thick signature makes more sense with lots of background noise. At the very least it stops you from turning it up too loud and giving yourself hearing damage trying to hear those SICK BEATS

Well, I'm experiencing glorious satisfaction.  Glory - as we all know - is born of victory.  And, as the Jem H'dar would say, "victory is life!"  As such, it's all fleeting.

That's exactly how I feel about the SA950i.  You know what the problem with that is right?  Arriving at your destination...

Since Manzarek has passed on now: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k9o78-f2mIM

I always found the Doors' music to be kind of haunting, and darker than a lot of rock from the 60's. More my speed...

Lesser gears, greater gears and in between? I can enjoy all of 'em and live in the wink.gifmoment. Take Astrud Gilberto's "The Girl from Ipanema" for example. Heard it on many a fine systems. But can equally enjoy it inside an elevator speeding up/down a high-rise.

I can do the same thing.

I have auditioned CD in a shop through their system which is usually horribly Lo-Fi.

I get an idea how it should sound from the sonic cues as to whether the problem is in the CD or the sound system.

If the CD is rubbish I don't buy it.

If the system is the problem, The CD is good when I try it at home.

It took a couple of dud CD's to realise it could be done.

I sometimes hear a tune on the radio, recognise the song and artist, and then enjoy the reproduction for what it is.

Hey a_recording try this as a fun experiment. When you get home put them on your ears with no music playing and listen around you for noise and note how they generally isolate well. Look out your window and wait for a car to come zooming by. You'll be surprised how the sound of the car zooming by can be heard clearly and even sounds like the sound was magnified. It's kind of a neat effect.

Wow, those actually kind of look........cool. I'm still waiting for an M80 successor though.

Or to try some danged HD25's. People have gotten me hyped on those, now.

EDIT: Custom colored Aviators? I forget, didn't these sound pretty decent? I know they were comfy as hell, I remember that much.

Do want.
