LMAO, I'm not much of a furry kind of guy. Now if they ever came out with cross species gene splicing I'd be first in line. I just thought it was rather amusing so I posted the video. Some of the costumes were rather impressive in my opinion.

LOL! I pretty much knew that it was not a typo but I was surprised at the difference in genres... I like Skillet, they're one of those "Christian" bands I can actually tolerate.

Hehe, I had no idea...  My knowledge of Christian bands is quite limited (e.g. Stryper, Jars of Clay, etc.)

Just skip all the posts in the first couple of pages as they now make no sense.

I have got to stop sleeping if I want to stay up to date....
I think storedj.com.au sells the hd25 for abcan't $200....
I know addictedtoaudio sells the m80 for less than $200 now as Its on sale......
As far as the race for where can you find the least
audio related gear goes we are at the top......
You cant even find sennheisers here!!!!
We don't even have any sony dealers.....
But we are at par with almost all other countries when it cones to pc gear and cars......
For example there are twelve of th limited edition level 10 casing in bangladesh....
They made only 300......
I get all my gears when I go abroad......
Most sites don't ship to us!!!!

I tried that, it doesn't work.  Too many people from too many places to predict an accurate day/night cycle for this thread.

Hey, I kinda feel bad about the prices we get here in the US... is there something like Tenso but for American shops?  Maybe you guys can try one of those?  Alternatively, maybe a private little service for Diary thread members?

I've helped a couple Head-Fi buddies in Canada and South Africa, went off without a hitch.  Never tried Asia though.

I actually saw those Sennheiser's you mentioned from a store in Newtown today actually! http://hifitrader.com.au/prod431.htm $120 AUD seems reasonable. Reasonable enough to tempt me...

There's MyUS and others for mail forwarding, but recently I've found that everything I want can either be shipped out from Amazon (either Amazon US, UK or EU), obtained for similar pricing in Australia from online stores or retail stores if you press them, or can be obtained from Japan for much much cheaper - or it's price controlled globally. I'm probably biased since I tend to gravitate towards Japanese gear though. But for instance getting this AKG K550 from Amazon Germany for less than $200 AUD was really awesome.

Speaking of which, I'm starting to like the K550 a lot more (the high end has gone from tizzy to refreshing) and I don't know if that's just burn in or maybe the pads getting softer or something. I don't like them enough to keep them (they are actually just a bit too heavy for me I find, they leave a sore spot on top of my head after a while and I prefer the AD1000X) but I feel like I can give them a decent review. Then I have a bunch of friends in Sydney who want to take it off my hands haha.

jb has them for $90: http://www.jbhifionline.com.au/ipod-mp3-portables/headphones/sennheiser-hd-439-over-ear-hi-fi-headphones/668723

so of you do want to buy them you can try it there.....

they actually come with two wires,

one 1.4m and another 3m.....

from what I read they should be good.....

If you have $90 to spend i think you should get them....

i had them under consideration when i got my HD518,

some head-fiers told me they sound like HD439= closed back HD518

luisdent likes them with his c5....

but isolation wise he told me its not the best......
