Wat.... skillet is a band. I thought it's just another name for a frying pan. The band must be sizzling good!!!!
Since a_rec asked about my avatar, then it's time for a story then:

It is based on a manga called It's Not My Fault I'm Not Popular!. You guys know that in anime there's always that one girl who's quiet in class, and maybe she's normal and stuff, right up until Main_Character-kun became her friend and have fun and ****? Well, take that ideal, turn it upside down and you now have the manga (which was abbreviated into Watamote). A lonely normal girl (well, she likes playing erotic visual novels...) wondering how to get famous in high school, with OHGODWHY level of CRINGE.

Now that in of itself isn't why I changed my avatar. It's the news that it's getting an adaptation this summer, and the fact that the promo poster of it posted in the anime thread annoys people there and making them CRINGE, that made me change my avatar. Yes, it is to annoy people that can't stand the manga.

Brownie points: since she's wearing the blue Beats Studios, that will annoy elitist wannabe audiophiles too.

I have a pretty high tolerance for CRINGE but dear god does this manga really push my limits.

I thought of embedding the promo poster here, but then I myself can't read moonspeak. I don't think posting a picture of the manga is.... prudent. I don't want to make people in here squirm.

Also on the "I thought skillet was a typo" thing, now "skillet and dubstep" makes much more sense since Skillet is a band. I mean, asking for Skrillex and dubstep is like asking to drink chilli juice and chilli sauce. Chilli juice is not a thing, right?

I don't think so.....

Sounds worth it. Halfway through that first paragraph I was like Oremo is getting a second season and an alternate universe side story???

Oh I totally thought it was a typo considering that Skrillex and dubstep go hand in hand.

Yeah right???  Okay, not just me then.

You know, I'm really tempted to get the FXZ200. I wonder if there's any used one in EU.

I'm not sure about Oz but in N. America the Sennheiser HD25 can be had for around or under 200 bones. He might want to look into those as a third option. Build quality is quite good but they don't fold up. Also, clamping force can be a little on the overly aggressive side until they've been loosened up a bit from wearing. If you're buddy likes bass there's also the V-MODA M-80. The sig is quite tastefully done and it's quite a fun colored sig.

Off I go to the dentist. If I don't make it back from his torture chamber remember me by lighting a candle.

After playing almost 30 hours of Persona 4 Golden on the Vita and reading about food here, I definitely need to buy Ramen/Instant Noodles!!! I used to eat it a lot since it was cheap and I didn't have any money (College). But yeah, the Sodium levels scare me... BTW, Persona 4 Golden is probably/possibly the BEST RPG I have played in QUITE a while!!!! Recommended!!!

I've been a fan of Paramore for a long time (2006/07 maybe?). Went to their concert when they came to the island (one of the few "big" rock bands that actually come here) and recorded a bunch of their songs with a camera I had but ruined everything because I was so into it that you actually listen to me more than her! LOL!!! Regarding their new CD, I actually not like it as much... I feel it lacking more pop-punk-catchy tracks... It seems they "experimented" JUST A TINY BIT more with Pop rather than Punk. It's Ok though... at least they offer variety throughout the disc, but I guess I just expected something else. Same thing happened with the new CD from Face to Face, one of my favorite punk bands ever (Bad Religion still makes
my brain explode even if all songs sound similar but love the lyrics... first band that actually made me open a frikin dictionary!!!!!!!). Their new CD is just... ugh... not catchy at all. It actually made me sad as I wanted it to be excellent!

For any pop-punk/punk fans, I do a lot of buying over at interpunk.com. They always have EXCELLENT sales!

Arrrghhh... all this talk about IEMs (and Shure, one of my favorite brands coming up with their flagship) is making me seriously consider getting a few! The thing is... the thing is... ugh, I find it so nasty inserting that "stuff" in my ear! I mean, it's not like I haven't used earbuds/IEMs/etc. before, but that doesn't mean I like them! LOL. I just find them, weird! I clean my ears at least 3 times a week and I still feel weird when using my cheapo-Sony
buds when I play Vita or listen to my PCM10 recordings... So I don't know what I will be able to do to get into IEMs. Are there any good IEMs to start that sound similar to:

MrSpeakers Mad Dogs
Ultrasone Signature Pro/DJs
Denon D5000
Sennheiser HD600s/Shure SRH1840s

????

More important, I see to always use the small/medium sized tips, how are the comfort levels on most IEMs? Do they vary by a whole lot?

LOL! I pretty much knew that it was not a typo but I was surprised at the difference in genres... I like Skillet, they're one of those "Christian" bands I can actually tolerate.

jgray91, are you aware of an older manga (I guess) called Crying Freeman? Just saw a live-action movie of it with Marc Dacascos (yeah yeah, shame on me, I'm a Marc Dacascos fan... and I LOOOOOVE B-chop-socky-movies) it was interesting... it kind of made me look into the OVA and see if I could buy it from somewhere. Since you seem to be embedded with the anime stuff, have you seen/read Crying Freeman? Is it worth it looking into the anime?

Thanks.

@gelocks, that's the first time I've heard of it. Man that OVA itself started before I was born, even! Can't help much. :\
