I recently bought an upgrade cable for my IE8's:

It has already broken. There are 4 wires here. Would it be possible to fix it myself? I could get it fixed under warranty but I live in Norway now and it would take forever to arrive and I might need to pay taxes on it. Would it be possible to buy a replacement plug?
