I was this close to impulse buying when I saw it was $99, but I have a headphone coming in the mail already. This would be a good beater headphone.

I was planning to buy it as soon as it came out as well... but I recently just purchased an es10, another $300 out of my poor college part-time job wallet, so yeah. redface.gif

Sorry for the double post. But... it looks like AKG is actually releasing 2 different models, the K618DJ and the K619DJ.

The K619DJ seems to be identical to that of the K618DJ, except that it has a iphone remote/mic, and more importantly, it comes in six metallic colors- black, as well as blue, green, purple, red, and orange.

Red looks great, but... 119 EUR? Come on, are they so much better than K518? Or are they just another, higher model from the DJ line, not a rehash?

I am disappointed to see that no-one has committed to buying a pair, especially for ~$100 or less.

I would have bought a pair myself, but cash has been coming in slowly. It saddens me to see a new model from such an acclaimed manufacturer go un-noticed.
