I have been talking to Phil and they are in the final stages of testing their new 8 and 10 driver, they still need some tweaks but it won't be much longer.

Exciting!

Phil is notoriously difficult to get in touch with though. How do you contact him?

I don't think you should be contacting Phil directly, he doesn't have the time. Just use their email or Skype chat to get in touch with customer service or Amelia. IF you really need to contact phil urgently and that isn't working for you, send me a pm

It's nothing urgent. I moved on and went to another IEM company with faster customer service. Amelia was taking ages to reply as well.

Hi there,

I've been using my CE6P's now for almost a year, in combination with a Microshar G3. Just as impressive now, as it was in the beginning.

However, my cable is starting to break. In the Cosmic Ears shop they are out of stock, but I need em soon.. Are the standard 2 pin connectors compatible with any other brands? I think they are, but I just wanted to verify. Maybe any of you can share some experiences?

Yes, it's the standard Two Pin cable. What kind of cable and sound sig are you looking for? I have tons of cables but it depends on your budget and expectations

CE posted a photo of using Effect Audio's cable on Twitter. How about trying them?

Thanks for your replies!

Well, durability mostly.. Especially around the 3.5mm jack area. I travel a lot with my gear. In and out jacket pocket.

However, the stock cable lasted me almost a year, so it's not that bad :)

I'll go and look for another brand two-pin cable then! Thanks!

Some brand/model that doesn't break the bank.
