Nope. Just a satisfied customer. Not sure why you would think anything else.

Hopefully it gets better after burn-in...

It improves considerably. Straight out of the box, while it is balanced with the rest of the sound, it is a bit woolly. Honestly, it will end up with as much bass as you need to have unless you are an extreme bass head cool.gif

It is capable of reaching deeper and with better texture, quality and punch than my GR07.

Try listening to the bass on this now, and again when you have put 100 hours on it. Obviously, download the FLAC version:

EDIT: The HY3 responds really well to EQ too, if you want to adjust it during burn-in, and it does it without destroying the rest of the sound.

It takes that long to build customs 3-4 weeks.  These are probably orders that got placed when they had stock.

Cheers

HY2 now announced by CE. One dynamic and one BA. Check their Facebook page. Also some more words about opening ordering back up again cool.gif

You can order, but there are some restrictions on cable type...

I went for the stock down option ...

Nice!  Wonder how much the hy2 will be considering the already reasonableness of the hy3.  Might go for that one.

Well, all we have from Phil at the moment is that it will be a "very good price". Of that I have no doubt, considering the price of their other offerings. I am going to assume that as he hasn't called it the HY2XB, that he intends to use the reduced bass driver in it too.

Lol listen to your cosmics with the cable on one side reversed. That way the speakers are out of phase and the soundstage is really strange then. Just for fun :)

I received my twin BA today and must say i am impressed. It is a step up from the single BA as far as i would say but the signatures do stray from one another. The Single is more analytical and borderline cold while the twin is warmer with a much larger bass, less mid presence and smoother, more detailed highs. the bass should be noted as very capable with great extension and a very prominent but very tight punch. It is quite delicious and also adds a nice warmth. The bass is of very high standard for sure!

I just got my Pure xD

Then why not get a twin BA as well, in the mini format so you can lay down with it and have that option between the two heehehehhe ;)

BTW guys, i am gonna make a video on the three different shell sizes!

Ah, good news. Clearly suits your tastes better than the HY3XB did then tongue.gif

Is there another IEM you would compare the sound with ?

Damn, the twin ba (always liked the westone 2 more than the 3, just a lil more bass and it would have been perfect!)or the single ba and dynamic.  Choices Choices.  Still academic atm anyway :)
