Well just to illustrate what I'm going on about below is a rough timeline of what's happened so far.
Send impressions to CE.
Get 'phones back, right one doesn't fit despite being made as deep as possible as requested.
Phones back to CE with instructions to adjust as they would any other as the theory it wouldn't fit unless deep fit didn't work out.
Phones arrive back. More comfortable but not sealing properly. Back to CE.
Phil decides to send me a new set of redone phones (this is where having the initial scans stored on computer come in handy, worth a £10 if you fancy some more down the road!)without being adjusted at all so we can pinpoint the issues.
Get phones back, as before the length of the right is too deep for comfort as it hit's up against the bone of the inner ear. However this time it is sealing nicely. So it's just a case of adjusting the length of the canal so it doesn't hit up against bone and we should *fingers crossed* be done.
Why it's been necessary to go through all that lord only knows but that's where we are and why I keep praising Phil and CE's customer service.
Cheers
Getting my new impressions done this friday, abroad! Let's hope these ones will be better, I want that BA4 :D

Guys, I know this may sound weird, but do you know if Cosmic Ears can make one with universal mould?
I'm very keen on HY3/HY5 and BA4/BA6 but seriously can't be bothered with ear impression, sending things back and forth and also small risk about the off measurement and therefore impression needs to be retaken...
I know UM and 1964 will make one with universal mould if you ask for it, and you pay for it, 3.Ai fits me perfectly and gives me perfect seal so if the body is similar to 3.Ai, that will do me perfectly...

You may think that 3.Ai gives perfect seal and i think i get get a great seal with the Ai among other universals but i really must say that a full custom really does seal better, more so defining perfect seal and for the slightly extra turn around, i would go for the full custom experience. However still a reasonable question question.

Well got them back today. For me 5 working days seems to be the average :)
Cautiously optimistic that the troublesome right ear fits! Not as deep as I'd have liked it but the last time we tried that it didn't go well :(. Phil also returned my impressions to double check those and the fit is fine:)
Going to give it the weekend to double check everythings fine.
Cheers

I know mate, but considering where I am, if I have to send it back, the shipping cost will be expensive, not to mention the waiting time too

Do you need to order the DIY kit or can you just go to an audiologist and use the moulding they have?
