It's some sort of conspiracy that's related to your fit issues. I think what has been happening all these years is that your IEM's are being diverted on route and adjusted so that they won't fit and then sent on their way to you.
I am not entirely sure who it is that is doing this or what their motives might be, it may just be the mischevious IEM imps at play. Or the government. Or aliens.

:)
On a slightly more serious note, both Phil and myself are somewhat mystified as to why my particular set of ears seem to pose so much of a problem. I know I've said it before in these forums but it bears repeating, Phils patience and courtesy in dealing with my situation is really appreciated.
If any potential new comers to cosmic ears do have any questions don't be afraid to shoot them an email.
Cheers
Has anyone heard anything about when the HY2 will be available to order? Looks like it's been some time since there were any updates on the website.

Hi
Hopefully someone can clarify about artwork here. I'm assuming it costs extra (£15 I think I saw on the newsletter)and we email our ideas (do we need examples or will an explanation be enough?) to phil/cosmic ears who say whether it's doable or not?
Cheers

I saw something awesome at school today and something like this would be awesome in one of the iems.
It's a bacteria culture which changes color depending on how the light shines on it. It's shiny and looks pretty cool. This picture doesn't do it justice.
Seems pretty awesome but planting bacteria cultures in your iems don't seem te be the best option. :)

That looks pretty cool, seeing as how creative Phil is I'm sure he's up for the challenge. Message him!

There are way to do it chemically, which would probably be better.
Think darkening sunglasses.

Hmm yea I wish I could. :) I don't have the money atm. Even tough my pure still need to be reshelled but mehh, i'm too lazy to ship them. And i'm way over the 30 days refit time anyway.
And on top of that, I don't want the police knocking on my door because I'm shipping some strange biohazard stuff internationally! I should look up the dangers of the specific bacteria, I can't remember which one it is from my head.
Doing something like that chemically could work but I guess It would lose it's rough surface, thus making it less beautifull.
But you just made me think of a cool design! Think smashed darkening sunglasses ;)

My "steampunk" TF10's arrived back just now. Look even better in the flesh than they did on the photos. Very impressed :-)
That was 4 days, door to door by the way, davidcotton. Completely unpredictable, it has been as little as 2 days and as much as 6

Cheers for that :)
Had a chance to listen to them yet to see what they sound like?
Day three now, so very possible slight (oh who the hell am I kidding, no chance today it's the not knowing part I hate :) ) chance of getting them today but more likely next week :).
Had a good chat with Phil yesterday about artwork. Email responses were so fast it was almost real time conversation. Won't go into any details here but if any people are thinking of artwork shoot Phil an email and he'll get back to you.
Just seen the rather scary forecast for next week and hope they get here before that lot hits again. We all know what the uk is like for a bit of snow ("it's snow joke, or it's Brritain!).
Cheers

Yes. No burn in required, as these are well used and also BA's, so I am not expecting any sound changes on that front.
As you might expect, fit, isolation and comfort are increased enormously by having a custom shell. This has the effect of making the TF10's 'V' shaped sound signature even more pronounced. This will be a "good thing" for those that are in love with the TF10's sound in its original housings, but I suspect for some, it will be a stretch too far, as it accentuates the TF10's bass and treble response even further, and recesses the mids even more.
I am a person that likes the TF10's sound, but I have to say that Cosmic Ears HY3 is superior to it in every way, with perhaps the exception of the treble, where, as all TF10 owners will know, it is quite sparkly, whereas the HY3 has a smooth treble with a slight rolloff on the top end. Which of those two sounds you prefer will be a matter of subjective taste, but the HY3 is both technically and musically superior by quite a considerable margin, to my old ears
So the 6BA has the special 2 - 1 - 1 - 2 config. How's the 4 BA? Double low, 1 mid and 1 high as usual?

Been reading about these CIEM's a lot now and they really got me interested! Europe based, good quality builds and the price! It all looks to good to be true. But anyway down to the questions
I am a sworn basshead and I really love my Atrio but the fit is not the best for me and I have been thinking about CIEM's for a while now (almost pulled the trigger on the Aurisonics a while back) soooo the question would be which model would be best suited for somebody who just loves the Atrio sound signature and the massive SUB-bass that they deliver?
