Neil Young appreciation thread

Thread Starter

I first listened to his album "After the gold rush" 6 years ago and initially thought "Wow! that could have been really nice it it wasn't for that old lady singing"

well, many years later I came to love and actually couldn't live without it.

as for right now I'm enjoying his "On the beach" album and I'm going to preform "Cortez the killer" at some local bar with a friend (I'm in charge of acoustic and singing).

So, what your favourite album, moments?

Share the love for old Neil!

i guess my favorite Neil Young album will always be Rust Never Sleeps

i remember my parents playing that album when i was a kid and fell in love with it

it's not like my parents listened to a wide variety of music, but Neil was one of them my mom and dad can agree on

and as much as he hates MTV Unplugged, i actually like it alot as well

he's got so many albums that it's tought to decide on what one is better then the other, but i will pick those 2 as my fave's
