I'm on a Windows based PC using a Chrome browsers.

I've never used Tapatalk but I gather it's a phone app for viewing message boards. In my experience, mobile devices and forums don't mix.

Opera
Either on PC, or on Android tablet.

The forums are badly coded, so they work like crap on mobile (f. ex. I have to write my posts in HTML). I don't remember any problems on other forums, even those custom-coded...

Dell tower at home right now dual core, 21in screen

I use my discontinued 32GB HP Touch Pad on the road that I got from Best Buy for $150 when they dumped them on the market a little over a year ago. (Managed to "Fight" them into selling it to me as all the employees were buying them and selling them up on ebay for $250)
