Looks like they're sold out. I wonder how a little furniture shop in Nebraska get these before a giant online retailer like Amazon?

i just recieved a mail that they are OUT OF STOCK.. but there was no notice that they had no units when i bought mine!.

you guys buying 2.. 3 .4 units .. THANKS!... also thanks for posting it at the deals thread. so who knows when i am going to get my pair!!

Now it's saying they're in stock and ready for pick up. Maybe you should give them a call.

Before it said they'll be in stock by the end of October.

i will wait until all you guys get them and review them, i will wait until they start selling them on amazon...

ok.. i called them, talked to KURT on the phone.. seems that they got them, but he told me that they only ship to 5 states (closest to where they are)  not even by UPS... no shipping to florida where i got my mail box.

 so guys check your order status...  they are not selling them to people out of those 5 states and the system is rejecting your orders and thats way there are avaible on stock again. seems that my order was rejected and my headphone went back to avaible status.

Did KURT tell you which 5 states they are shipping to? What a strange way to do business esp since it is a online store, they should at least mention in BIG BOLD warning letters on their web site about this issue tbh.  And it looks like they raised the prices of these S400s to $30 now, guess people should really spend their cash elsewhere. 

Ricky dood, chill my man these S400s are gonna flood the states real soon, and other more reliable places will be selling them for around the lower $20s, so not need to stress over it.  Yeah but it sucks that this place is so limited in what they do/ where they ship.  They seem like a mom and pop store so it's understandable...............BUT...........

dont remember man.. named some states there, but since i dont live in the states its hard to tell you know, try calling to my country and listen some1 giving you names like calidonia, central Penonome and you are going to be like.. WT........???    any way, missipi lousiana something like that? no problem man. i will wait in the meantime i am enjoying my overhyped piece of plastic headphone 
 

I wonder what 5 state they're talking about, because they have 3 location. Nebraska, Kansas and Iowa. There's like 8 something states that surrounds those 3 states

sorry guys.. cant help you there, but it was like the 5 states around them or soemthing like that.
What came to  my mind was a picture of the "wild west" and some old trucks on the road , you know?  like its in the middle of nowhere and these guys is like.. "sorry man, whe cant ship to florida you know?"  i am like,: "man.. but Florida =  Usa"   he:  "yea but sorry my system doesnt let me ship to florida", me : "cant you call UPS ? those guys can ship wherever they want...............

Maybe Mr. Cajunky can shed some light on NFM's shipping policy?  It doesn't make sense that the website mentions no such restriction, doesn't lock out zip codes, and processes the orders.  Why would it make any difference for small items shipped UPS?  Maybe it's a mix-up between delivery (via their trucks) vs. shipping via a common carrier?  This isn't a mom and pop joint--it's a group of big box stores with a large inventory.

That explains why my order hasn't been canceled. I'm about 233 miles from their Iowa store.

I've been seeing post about a 50mm version, is this just speculations from head-fi'ers or did JVC announce it?

My hasn't been cancelled (or they haven't told me yet anyway) and I'm nowhere near their stores.
