So before I buy my first good pair of headphones i'm just making sure these are legit because I know there are fakes circulating around..

I'm talking jabout the default ones at $111.07

 

Amazon isn't an authorized reseller so I have no idea if these are straight from an amazon warehouse or if they make sure they're real before making them the default ones to buy.

Ehhh. Don't be so sure. I've gotten fugazzi from Amazon.com before (as in actually sold by Amazon.com LLC, not FBA, not Marketplace). Look for an authorized dealer selling through Amazon (so that you will have your warranty honored by AT among other things) - Adorama, Beach, 17th Street, or any of the other numerous authorized AT dealers: http://www.audio-technica.com/cms/site/1e22eec97c088a8b/index.html
