Nice video.

 

There is something compelling about Colorfly's minimalist screens. The C4 was cool that way too. 

 

One thing that I couldn't really identify from the video is what the 'While Playing' screen looks like. I assume that it very simple. What information does it give you?

Thanks for the great review, very happy to see that Colorfly have brought out a more affordable DAP. I could never justify getting a C4 but this is very tempting indeed.

 

My only gripe is the lack of gapless playback, something I'm very picky about. Shame there's no ALAC support either. Really hope they can sort this out with a firmware update soon. If they can do that then I'll be snapping one up. For the moment though I think I'll be sticking with my Rockboxed Clip Zips.

Wonder how this stacks up agains the Rocoo BA... certainly beats it for price. Would be very interested to hear a comparison.

Thanks for the review. Any idea of the output impedance? TI says the DAC/amp/SOC chip capable of driving 16 ohms but that doesn't really tell us. Depending on personal Volume needs, it may not be for some cans but should have enough power for any IEMs.

Hi goodvibes, i will contact Colorfulto see if we can get clarification on output impedence.  It is indeed correct that the amp seems to be mounted to the dac.

Does the C3 have a locking button/switch? That's something of a deal breaker for me and pmps.
