 We respect you to prefer the C 3 over ROCOO by your objective personal taste. But the price of ROCOO P is only 110 pounds, it is not what your said 100 pounds price expensive. We hope you can check our price before your comments it. I don’t agree with you imagine of our price and the sound quality of it.

In fact, even with the subject judge of the sound quality of different players, there are still has some sound standard to refer to. Such as the soundstage, the bass is muddy or clear, the mids is well layered, and the high is detailed and extended. There are so many items for make a judge of the sound grade. It can’t explain that “my taste is A player is better than B player”.

I don’t defend ROCOO is must better than other players. We hope every rest players can be serious on sound quality. We hope every really consumer can really enjoy the high quality player.

But I don’t think it is good way to make a vague conclusion that one player is better than others. If there is no detailed compare, or based on the image to make a conclusion, it will damage the reviewer’s fame and unfair to the potential buyers of the related players.

 

As a representative of Hisoundaudio, I have no right to ask any body to love our player. I also, I am really not defend our player is must better than others. We respect any personal conclusion. I only hope the conclusion is based on the careful A/B comparing and based on the carefully observation. We like to see what is our players’ difference to others. We than can improve it.

Anyway, I really hope you can firstly check our ROCOO’s price than not based on imagining. Then make your comments.

Well you are entitled to convey your own view, one that we all should respect. I think what hisound is asking is to justify your preference (especially sq-wise),not to change your views. A more specific comparison will probably help.

thanks stozzer123. because i was finding a somewhat worthy upgrade from our hippo / c30 / n2 variant and you being in the same shoe as i am knows better. maybe i can get this and then just amp it. Ill wait for you battery tests mate. thanks!

Nothing in stozzer123's review is inappropriate. I believe that it is actually hisound that is offside here. There are rules regarding the conduct of MOTs - including Sponsors - in relation to other manufacturer's products. In my view the spirit of these rules (at least) is not being followed here.

How would you compare it to a Cowon S9 using BBE and Machbass, do you think the C3 can still compete? Because my main source is an S9 using about +8 BBE and +4 Mach3bass (with some minor treble tweaking). Do you still have the Cowon there to have a check Stozzer.

Oh, I still have the EPH-100, they were returned due that 'little problem' we've been seeing.

Ahh yeh i forgot you had given them to your mother, any luck in returning to seller? 

If I hadn't of bought my Cowon C2 last week I would be jumping on this straight away, so it's something I'll be keeping a close eye on in coming weeks. I don't expect C3 to meet up with Cowons... let's say artificial enhancements as I'm completely open on welcoming a natural sound, there's nothing like having a variety.

One week earlier I'd be on the train now.....Give us another week or two. I'm a sucker for decent DAP's within my price range.

No, I bought the EPH privatrly on ebay, that guy's long gone. rolleyes.gif They still work, I'm yet to experience the problem myself personally.
