Great review!

This looks really awesome :) Could you compare it with Clip+, as in how marginal the difference in their SQ?

Thanks for the review. I was looking at C3 as a potential replacement for my C30 but then I am hesitated because the output doesn't seem high enough for some of my IEM. I guess I might take the plunge after all biggrin.gif

Thank you Stozzer.

With your TF10 what was the bass response like with C3? I know on the Clip+ alone they don't pair to well, it's sometimes hit and miss with how much quantity TF10 produce on that player. I'm coming from Mach3bass here so I'm a little concerned. Do the TF10 feel under powered? I can live with the UI and basic features because as you said it does everything it's mean't too. My other concern is I like to lift treble a touch and it may be too dark in that area.

Ha, I am worrying that my C30's battery is cr@pping out as well. That's why I went for the Teclast X19HD at first but it doesn't sound nearly as good. If it is better than C30 than I am sold. In worst case, I'll just carry a small amp around if I have to. Really good small DAP is hard to come by these days.

You can make your subjective conclusion that C 3 is better to any players, including Hisound's ROCOO. But I would like to see other honest user's comments on the compairing. Both ROCOO  and C 3 has been released for long time, the truth is already known by lot of users.

None. The DAC inside has its own headphone amp section but doesn't support line-out.

@stozzer123, you also had the c30 right? i have a nationite n2 and would like to ask if its a step above these the n2s and the c30s? and you played on a 35/40 volume scale? so i reckon the amps on these c3's aint that powerful like the c30s and the n2s? and have you tried playing this straight from the SD card alone? battery consumes faster if data read is FROM the external storage IIRC. that 12-14 hours playing time that you quoted above, thats all flac from your external storage alone, or is it a mix/shuffle of both the internal and external storage? TIA! biggrin.gif

Guys i will make a video of the UI later and post it above, someone has suggested I do a size comparison as well and will do so with a number of players.  If anyone has anything specific the would like to see let me know and i will try and incorporate it. thanks.
