Well, earlier this weekend, I've sold and shipped my NW-F807S. It's a pity that it didn't play my hires files. Think it's the UI I'll miss sorely.

Thanks Salanos. This thread is more and more interesting, really.
I have to confess that I am loving my F807, even if sometimes, I miss the bass extension.
All my song are in FLAC now and what I really like about this walkman is the precision of the sound, the details.
It is hard, when I am in public, to stay quiet .
But I understand why Ok-Guy wants to stay with his Z1070.
I am thinking about buying the Z1060 now, 'cause I am curious about how it sounds.
I am waiting the ICS update.
The Sony headphones are not bad, but the trebels are too agressive for my ears.
I tried 3rd party apps, and even if I know I'll probably buy Poweramp (for the playlists, don't want to use MediaGo), I mainly use Sony stock player
I am not really convinced by these apps.

this is nice salanos & poison :P where did you get the casing? i'm looking for one as well..
Here's the NW-F807 with its relative, the new Vaio Duo 11. All pics taken here on the plane.
Since the DUo supports NFC, I'll try it at some point with the F807. I also wonder if NFC work with SonicStage CP5 which I installed (and yes, I still use SS; you just need to hack one file to install on an English OS).
Here's the blue color with the Steamboat Willie theme:
Here's the case I got - fits it perfectly. Wasn't designed for it actually and wasn't cheap, but I'm very happy with it.

Weird, I'm wondering if it's a setting somewhere which is not allowing the volume rocker to work with third-party apps when the unit is locked. Mine does work with app players when locked... I'm certain at least it does so with Cubed.
thats good salanos, sell to me
was checking out several sony center as sg for a few days, unfortunately none of them selling the case yet.

nice preorder box and case salanos!
although mine is still being shipped, i think i would get or trade my F for a red Z sometime based on how the other users describe the sound. that might change though, i hope!
Has anyone seen a good video review of this new walkman? I can't seem to locate one anywhere.
Sony F walkman will never earn top review as most reviewers will ditch the F high price & lack of front & back cameras unless he/she values excellent sound quality. The F is built for music enthusiast first and apps later.
