I purchased mine right on the Sony Store site, the day it became available. Has always $299 there, and I had it in hand two days after ordering.  biggrin.gif

Right. So are there any importers selling it?

dang... fulfilled by amazon... taxes, shipping, and handling will eat my money sending the item here =(

about fedex/dhl... i was supposed to buy a 64gb Z when it was first released, and my girlfriend will have it shipped to my country, since japan post doesnt ship items with batteries, i asked her to ship using fedex or dhl. since both are not really available near her place, we asked to get a quote for pickup and ship and it costed 20,000 to 30,000 yen...

...so i went with dx100 lol

i actually preferred the sony stock player over those paid apps

prices will tumble within a month when the independent stockist in Japan get them... expect to see WM-Z prices (I have this via reliable info).

lossless is the way to go on these Sony's... I'm looking forward to the WM-Z's update, just so I can re-upload my music into Flac to save me a few gb's (nightmare).
