oh, im not using the gunmetal version though..mine's a blue one :)

 

Qns to those who have SUCCESSFULLY and FAILED to update.

what's your kernel version?

mine is 2.6.39.4 release@build01 #1

 

this is just a survey to see what's going on.

 

 

turok : hard reset and then? manual update or OTA update?

OTA...or Manually, as it should make  no difference...as they said.

Still the same error!!! with Manual.

turok, try OTA and i know as frustrating as it is, calm down a little..that's the one thing i've learnt dealing with android..

I was able to extract the .zip rom for the Japanese update.

Is there a way to force it?

i think not unless we can root and get CWM installed for flash it

I just updated my japanese version F805.

I went directly to Settings > About device > System update to update it. It worked like a charm.

 

The new version has way better EQ as there is more increments for each band, and you can even go negative for Clear Bass! Awesome!

Same here.  Continue to get error code 11 after the 4th trail.  Will the APac updated work?
