Limo

???

Oops. I mean Lemo. The one used in Krell CAST connections.

It was discussed here on Head-Fi, but no real feedback.

Kingwa replaced the his acss connectors from LEMO to the current mini xlr and 4 pin xlr in the master series some 2 years ago.

He wasn't using limo connectors, though I know of at least one person that modded theirs to use limo

I guess Lemo connectors are pretty nice, good quality and durability but really just seem like a better quality and much more expensive alternative to mini xlr. I dont tend to plug and unplug my accs connectors that much, and cant really see the back of my equipment so to me that cuts out looks and durability. Only really leaves the appeal of "overkill factor" XD

Furutech have some nice mini xlr connectors, might be worth a look. I used them for recent accs cables and they were easy to use and look great, but maybe not 100% on the crimp style strain relief - i think the neutrik style is easier to use if the cable needs rework. The furutechs probably cost the same as Lemo but you can leave the stock mini xlr connectors in place.

Well what is the trouble with your S/PDIF inputs?  Which one of the two - Input 1 or Input 3?  What is driving the S/PDIF input?

Hi DACLadder! Input3...

I tried with three different interfaces and three cables into three different pcs. 24/192 does not work, some "noises" turn up, it seems like it is not able to synchronize.....I tried with StelloU3, HiFace and Xonar Essence ST and spdif cables were VOVOX, choseal and 1$ one....

All material was new. It is a shame but.....

Well, it happens with all equipment from time to time.  Too bad you have to ship it all the way back to AGD.  But at least they will repair and test the unit before shipping it back.

Thanks all for insisting on the Offramp. The off-beast just arrived. What a nice box! I am just listening my Off5>BNC>M7>etc. setup and everything sounds really enjoyable. Still expecting CAT7 cables/connectors and Hiface Evo... I2S testing/comparing weeks are coming soon.

Can you pin out the differences vs USB so far?  ( your subjective opinion ofcourse :P )
