Sennheiser Gains New MOMENTUM - Page 3

Hope they bring it to Japan in October for the headphone fest.

That case looks an awful lot like the Beats one... Looks nice though!

I think I'll save $200 and stick with my Philips Citiscape Uptowns.

i was just thinking that these REALLY look like uptowns, hope they sound better at that price but the uptowns are already very good.

Love the look, detachable cable is a huge plus with any headphones I want to take on the go.

Keeping my eyes out for this one.

MSRP of $349 isn't bad.  Less than I thought it was going to be.  Not a big fan of the color, and would like to see an aluminum earcup version.

What would you say are the sonic differences between Momentum and Amperior?

The quality in those photos is impressive.  I hope the real-world feel lives up to the photos.  Very nice.

Any words on release date?

They LOOK  far superior to the Amperior, but are the same price.  My cynical side wonders what's the catch.

These look very interesting if they sound any better or like the Amperior, I really don't like supra-aural heaphones.

Well genuine leather and steel/aluminium makes up the entire chassis, where the Amperior is a mishmash of plastic and aluminium.

Mid September per this link.  Also could this be Sennheiser's first basshead can?  Competition for the M-100?  Classy vs. sassy :)

Also trying to figure out which other Sennheisers have a 32 ohm, 40mm driver to narrow down the driver used in this one.  I am encouraged that it does not use the HD25 driver.

The first headphone I ever owned was a Sennheiser and I am rooting for them to come up with something that brings me back in the fold.
