Ahh. Yeah they are. But the HD800's technical ability actually justifies the price (as long as you don't mind their tonal balance), unlike many other $1K+ headphones I've bought or tried. IMO, of course.

You know.. It seems like I want what the HD700 was supposed to be.

Something that bridges the hd650's tonality with the hd800's detail.

 

Maybe I'll just jump back on the t50rp bandwagon, *sighs*

I really just need to see how the rest of the sennheisers compare to the hd595, that would probably give me a good idea if I really want a pair or not.

 

Or you know, just buy one of each. HD600 is first though :)
