Ultimate Ears UE 900 Discussion and Impressions Thread - Page 55

I am also awaiting delivery from logitech for a warranty claim that I sent in over a month ago. I was fortunate that the rep actually offered me the 900's instead of an inferior product. I was very polite and gave my rep good feedback before he made me the offer. I am a believer in being nice in these situations because more times than not, reps hear complaints all day long. Btw nux, have they given you a time frame as to when they will be shipped out?

afraid not, the guy handling my case would email or call me when the manager in charge of the stock and all that back from vacation, hes guess and the others there working is that they would come in early Nov or with luck later in October.

Thanks for the reply, My rep just said that he would email a tracking# when it shipped. He did not know when it would be in stock. If UPS had not lost the package when it was originally shpped ( but later found) I would have gotten my triple fi's replaced. I am however looking forward to trying out the 900's. I have a back up pair of triple fi's just in case..rolleyes.gif

Just checked my email and I received the following response from my rep:

GOOD NEWS!!!! I just ordered you UE 900 for your replacement!

Your product should be shipped next week.

Thank you for your understanding.

I will be sure to give my impressions when mine arrive. Can't Wait!!    biggrin.gif

I'm really, really jealous of you two

It makes me wish I ordered TF10s 3 months ago and break them on purpose so I could get these bad boys

But that's just unethical, amirite? popcorn.gif

Having a great fit is critical with these.  Sadly, I can't find one after trying all of the tips that came with it.  It's a shame that it's going back.

That's unfortunate :/ Did you get it at Apple?

However, good news is that Centerstage discount codes work now.

So if anyone has an extra code to spare, they'd save me about 1 or 2 months! dt880smile.png

Why not buy some tips and experiment? I didn't give up on the IE8 (now IE80) and glad I didn't.

For $400 price tag, buying tips and testing it out isn't an experience I am looking for. There will be other fishes to catch.

Fair enough. I guess when you take full MSRP into account that does leave a bad taste in ones mouth. Then again I'd never pay full MSRP for an IEM generally.
