For what it's worth...and I like the TF10, the bass and treble are both very detailed but there is a veil with the midrange and this makes the entire IEM/presentation sound disconnected. Some say it's recessed but I hear it very present but a veil over it.
I was laughed at when (after hearing W4) I thought UM3X sounded like an upgrade or improved W4. It's more efficient and fuller sounding. Instrumemnt separation is about the same, W4 soundstage is larger and overall presentation is a bit smoother to where it almost sounds veiled and dark. UM3X favors no frequency and is perhaps the only "balanced" IEM I have heard that is also "full" sounding and not wimpy.
