If you want same sound signature as UE900 but is a totally upgraded version, the answer is earsonics SM64 a legend killer in bass + vocal.

Looks like sm64 has pretty good review.
It's bit expensive imo.
After ue900 and even shure lasted me a year I decide not to spend too much money on iem as it breaks quiet easily.

If i spend $500 ish I will buy a compact headphones. wink.gif

I made that same decision months ago after replacing the UE900 far too many times. I just gave up on IEMs. Nothing but a waste of money for me since I started buying them 5-10 years ago. I haven't been happier musically since I've gone to on-ear cans.

Like you wouldn't believe. Been through like 4-5 replacement UE 900s. Then Logitech started blaming the cables for shorting one side of the ear phones. Then I bought something like 8-9 replacement cables. A few stock ones and even the Fiio one. Each shorted out. Last one shorted Nov 2013. Haven't looked back since. Even though I still have a soft spot for UE I don't think i'll ever go back.

I'll also iterate that Logitech's CS is terrible. I had much better luck before they bought UE. Better quality and better CS

Wow, sorry to hear that.  Go check out the V-MODA XS if you haven't already.

Not to derail this thread any further but yes I've tried them and they weren't for me. Made my music sound unnatural. Too much emphasis on the vocals for me. They are nice tho, especially for commuters/portability. After about 15-20 headphones, I've settled on the Beyerdynamic T51P.

Can anyone confirm that the new tips that come with the 900s are color coded? The Logitech rep I'm talking to insists that they're black even after I've shown her pics...

Here's what she said: "It might be that the color tips are only available in another country and not in the North American Region. But as far as we know they are not available with color tips."

And yes, she knows I'm talking about the new 900s because she refers to them as the 900s too.

Hey guys, how's the build quality of the stock audio only black cables? I've been looking for one all over and can't seem to find anyone that sells them. Called Logitech US and had no luck frown.gif

If anyone is willing to part ways with one, shoot me a PM.

Quality is fine for my taste.

Logitech sells them in their own shop: http://www.logitech.com/nl-nl/promotions/6423?pcid=4872 **Thats the Dutch page**

Are these a good deal for $265? Or are there better headphones in that price range for around that price?

I'm looking for something that has less sibilance than my Dunu DN-1000's without killing all the detail in the high end.
