Hello again,

If I buy a Ue from ebay , is the warranty still effective or sould I buy it from a authorized reseller?

No warranty unless you get it from an authorized dealer.

The UE comes with an iPod cable, and it should run fine on one.  I've used my iPod Touch 4G and 5G on my UE 900 just fine.

I just received my UE900 and I LOVE IT! Has anybody bought custom cables that have improved the sound quality? Also, I might get custom ear molds in the future for these. Any companies I should look into?

Thank you very much for the answers. So there is any authorized reseller except amazon and Apple Store ? Especially in Chicago? Sorry for these questions I am an international student.

Maybe a Best Buy?  Most physical stores should be authorized.  If you want a more complete list, the best thing to do would to email Logitech customer support, they can send you a list.

If you wanted to go custom, why wouldn't you just buy a custom IEM from UE :p  That said, the UE 900 has quite a thick bore.  You may want to make sure the company is willing to create a mold for the bore before ordering.  BTW, any company that can create a tip for the Triple-Fi 10 can do it for the UE 900.  

 

Other notes, I would not recommend reshelling the UE 900 (before that idea pops up).

UE900's have the same connectors as Shures, so you can browse online for custom Shure cables for them

Any AK100 owners here? How would it pair with AK100? I read somewhere that the higher the source output impedance is the flatter the UE900 becomes.

Where did you heard that?  But again isn't that true with any IEM / headphone?

I've read it in Rico's blog but I might have misunderstood what he has written.
