Stereo Integrated Amplifier

Thread Starter

Looking for some recommendations on a stereo integrated amplifier that has a good headphone out on it.  Dedicated circuit would be nice but not necessary.  I have some Klipsch bookshelf speakers at 75W RMS I will be powering.  One of the main caveats is that I don't need a DAC, as I already have the Schiit Bifrost.

I have been looking at:

Onkyo A-5VL

Cambridge Audio 350A

NAD c316bee

Possibly an Emotiva, but I am not sure if this would be worth it.

Anything else I should look at?  As far as I know, all of these have DACs which may be unavoidable.  I am trying to keep my price range around $300-400.  The option of buying a controllable iPod dock would be a big plus as well.

Thanks for the help.

Also considering the Yamaha A-S500.  Thoughts on this amplifier?

The websites AVSforum and AVforum might also be good places to ask about stereo amplifiers.

although this may not be the forum, I'll still throw out the Harmon Kardon 3490...has a decent HP out.
