My Experience with Headphone Lounge - Page 2

I made payment to HPL 41 days ago and he still hasn't shipped. After 45 days, I will have no recourse via paypal. I'm hopeful that he will ship them before the 45 day grace period has elapsed - he definitely does high quality work.

Please specify which product this was for, as we are three completely different guys, in three completely different parts of the world, handling three different product lines. Thanks.

I'm taking care of it immediately. I've replied to you via all methods of contact. Not that this disproves your argument, but you did also place a pre-order for some cables that had not debued yet. I've only had the materials for those for a couple weeks. You have my sincerest apologies and you should know that I will handle it this week. I understand if you file the paypal claim to protect yourself before the 45 days but you have my word that this is going to be resolved.

I got your messages and Ted has sent me a photo of the cables, so he seems to be taking care of this. I wasn't told when the new stuff arrived, so I was in the dark about what was happening. I'm pretty confident they'll be shipped soon after seeing the photos.

There's nothing wrong with this. All three of them make different products and came to an agreement. They're all responsive, and communicate with each other when it's necessary. I've had nothing but positive experiences with them.

Ted is the guy who actually builds most of Chris' cables. He often gets forgotten, we should not forget him!

And Ted is the guy who pulled my order together after it "slipped through the cracks." I give him props for having a strong sense of responsibility and not making excuses - he got to work and BOOM! I had a picture of the build and a tracking number. He kept me updated every step of the process, too. He's a good dude, no doubt.

It's ALL of them these days. I will see if Jin will edit the literature on the website to dictate this.

 

Aaron, yes he really came through for me on that one, I'm very happy about how that situation turned out. Sorry for how it went down initially.

I fear that my experience with Headphone Lounge (so far) has been more like doublelea71's and less like Lawz's.  I ordered my cables on August 24, received an email invoice 24 days later (on September 17), and received the cables 13 days later (on October 3).  Unfortunately, the cables appear to have an intermittent short.  I reported the issue the following day but have not received a reply.
 
Considering that, at least in my case, Headphone Lounge has demonstrated deficits in order initiation, quality assurance, and service after the sale, I would be reluctant to order from them until they can specifically address the steps they have taken to ensure that what happened to me does not happen to future customers.

You need to get in touch with Ted - he builds most of the gear afaik and doesn't fuss about when it comes to order fulfillment. When he heard about how long I'd been waiting, he took care of everything in no time.
