I agree.  I think Georgia and ND would be more fun to watch.  Regardless the winner of the SEC CG will be playing in the NCG.  ND needs to win or it will be up to the computers.  Two more years and then we can get to a 4 team playoff, we need it now. 

 

UT fired Dooley today and the next hire will be a big one.  Serious money is in the mix and I would lay even odds it will be Jon Gruden.  Word is he wants 5mill X 10years.

Main thing is beat scUM.  It will be a great year regardless, IF this happens.

 

A couple weeks ago, going to the NC game and playing a seemingly invincible Alabama team didn't seem very appealing.  Things have changed:  ND would be a winnable game for Ohio State.  Therefore, the bowl-ban might sting a bit more now.  But like I said, beat scUM and all is good in Buckeye land.  If Urban can stay healthy for the next several years, there will be more chances to play for a title.

I like brutal, hard-nosed defensive games, it's similar to watching chess (which I love). To me, high scoring games are boring.

Sweet Jesus what an awful year for us Cal fans. I'm not sure if I'll miss Tedford or not. I like the guy but the team hadn't been producing.

I think USC stands a good chance to win, a lot of talent on that USC team, and going undefeated is difficult.  Florida is good outside Alabama the best team I've seen this year their defense is TUFF.

I'd say now that Barkley isn't playing, ND's chances of winning went up significantly.

Yup. Florida got it done. Tough game in the Coliseum so far (it's halftime as I type this).

Kids and I went up to the Northwestern game today. Been a while since I saw my wildcats score 50 points. Sure was fun! 9-3 is a very good season for us, but given we lost to Nebraska by 1, and to Michigan in OT, I can't help but wonder at what could have been...
