but whatever it's called, it certainly is NOT the first that your thread title states. this is continuing in a tradition of large head-fi meets that has been going on for years now. the 'canjam' name was coined for the third large head-fi meet of this type by the south florida crew that hosted it back in 2008.

If it's going to be in June, keep in mind that  T.H.E. Show Newport is the first weekend of the month, and people (especially vendors) will want a little time to decompress.

Just out of curiosity, is there any reason why you wouldn't want to go as a vendor?  BTW, Shirori and I have been bouncing around an idea whereby you might be able to go as both.  We're still trying to patch up the gaping holes in the theory.  Plus, we'd have to clear it with Jude.  But there's an outside chance that it just might work.

Well when you put it that way...  Lol, I've done my fair share of show so I feel ya there buddy.  But like I was saying, Shirori and I are gonna try to do something wickedly different if we can.  We gotta talk to Jude about it, but it's so crazy it just might work.  Will unveil the plan if and when it gets approved.
