Went to my local Apple store hoping to find a pair to audition there sadly they did not have one, its online store only for now. Really am tempted to buy these, but have to wait for some reviews.

Nice images of the UE4000 and i cant wait to see if these also get some positive impressions. Enjoying the fact these seem to be well received, especially by Tyll because of his preference of the UE6000 over the K550 which i loved!

I didn't get a chance to hear it yet. I had to get ready for work (my day job). I should get some ear time tonight. They are breaking in right now at home.

Measured the UE4000, and it's got some pretty bad problems.  Left ear has significantly worse bass response, and MUCH higher distortion figures.  The sent me another one....same problem.  I'd steer clear.

Thanks Tyll for your feedback on the UE4000. I think for $199 the UE6000 is hard to beat.

Anyone know how late in the day Apple ships? I just ordered UE6000 overnight, hoping to get tomorrow since they are West coast.  Naturally, I will post an impression.  I am trusting Tyll on this one even though we have different taste in headphones.

I'm keeping my eye on the UE6000s, the V-Moda M100s, and the AKG K267 Tiestos. I just sold my SRH940s so I can pick up a better option for mobile use.

Right now I´m looking for a good bluetooth for work, I´m between the UE9000 and the Parrot Zik. I´m waiting for Tyll´s review and comparison!!!!
