Will Ship To: CONUS
For Sale, a fair condition used Little Dot MKII OTL Tube Amplifier with extra pair of Mullard CV4010 Military Spec EF95 Tube drivers. Comes with power cable.
Original retail value is 159usd for the amp, plus an additional 45 in shipping, plus 20 more for the pair of tubes. I'm asking 90 total, free shipping. Paypal only.
When the Little Dot came to me, a section on top of its power supply cap was slightly protruding out, and now there's a bit of paint chipped away at one of the protrusions. This is the only damage to the unit. Also, the build quality of the Little Dot MKIi is not top notch, however it is very robust. The headphone jack and the volume pot are not angled the same as the amp chassis, however the entire unit is very heavy and encased in an all metal enclosure. One of the Mullard driver tubes tends to be very screechy and finicky if you feed it low output impedance and sensitive headphones like a Denon D2000. I'm not sure if it's just its connection pins needing cleaning or if the tube going bad over time. Moving the tube around a bit in its socket tends to quiet it down.
The Little Dot MKII has rca in and out, and can double as a preamp for another amp. As a very cheap OTL amp, it is ideal for power hungry 600Ω Beyers or other high impedance cans with 300 and above ohms. You can adjust its gain up by unscrewing the bottom two screws on the front and back faces, and opening it up to flip the gain switches. I currently have it on its lowest gain of 3, but it can be set to 4, 5 and 10 as well for even extra headroom.
This is a very good sounding amp for its price. I compared it against my current O2, and I was hard pressed to tell any significant improvements from the O2.
Will ship to Continental US only using USPS flat rate, and only the Continental US-- no exceptions.
