Hi All,
My Modded Fostex T50RP headphones are up for sale which are just 3 months old.
The headphone has the following modding done:
1. Baffle loading using blue tack
2. Damping the earcup with felt
3. Stock earpads replaced with Shure 840 pads for better isolation and bass (costs $14+shipping)
4. Sennheiser HD580 Headband Cushion for added comfort (costs $8+shipping)
5. V-Moda 3.5mm Audio Only Cable (costs $12+shipping)
I will also include the stock earpads and the cable.
These have a very fun sound signature with very fast bass without being overwhelming (Bass heads keep away). Midrange is fluid without being too prominent and the highs are too die for. I just love the smoothness in the high region and consider these as my reference as they recreate all the details without being dark. These headphones are great for an extended listening sessions without any signs of sibilance and fatigue.
The reason for sale is funding for an upgrade, I am planning to buy a HiFiMan HE-400, so planning to sell this main headphone of mine which I really love. At this point I am still not sure if I am doing the right thing by selling this headphone. I have never heard the HE-400s and I am just going with my instincts. Hope I don't regret this decision of mine
