glad they found you bokyung...

so i received some tips from Gavin at TA yesterday...silicone ortofon to be specific....

all i can say is WHOA...my mind asplode....

i'm really quite speechless...

imaging, separation, resolution are astonishing for an IEM....

having a proper tip has evened up the frequency range...mids have come forward, highs are extended and articulate...

i was hoping to meet up with GG at a local headphone shop and a/b against the big guns (lcd2 and hd800)...that will have to wait until next week...

carry on... etysmile.gif

Does anyone know how long would it take to craft this IEM?

What exactly are you asking? How long it takes from individual parts to a finished earphone?

Yeah I think he means how long do these IEMs take to produce. All I know is it takes a lot longer than the old model took. I can try ask Gavin how long one unit takes to produce.

To answer your question generally 4 to 6 weeks turnaround time. But the actual amount of time to make them is from 10 to 14 days. So noticeably longer than the older model. Plus if the IEM doesn't pass their quality control the entire unit is discarded. Nothing is recycled.

erm...can i be included in the list of people to be chosen for review?

its very sad to see that people are chosen because they have done previous reviews. no chance seems to be given to people who want to prove themselves. =(

I'm sorry chester but at this point it is out of my hands. Pretty much I chose people who I trust and who have a history here on headfi. Otherwise it would be taking a risk on Tralucents part and I'd feel horrible if I played a roll in them getting ripped off. You'll have to get your feet more wet if you'd like to have opportunities like this in the future.
