I am eager to get some/any impressions for the new/updated 1plus2, as I was very close to ordering one, but had to wait to see what you guys might say.

Lee, toads .....and others, please help me decide....ksc75smile.gif.

I won't be able to  help you for at least a couple more weeks. These things take a long time to produce and they are backlogged with orders. So hopefully before Christmas I'll have them. :(

 

I won't have the Heirs 8As most likely until the middle of next month... :(

That kinda is the idea. Cool down for quite a while and just be happy with what I got :).

Well I'll try my best to articulate my findings....

One problem is I really have nothing at hand to compare, except the um3x...and that is simply pointless as the 1+2 greatly excels in every sonic category...

I'll try to make my way over to the headphone bar in Vancouver and do some comparisons with some high-end full size units like the LCD-2 and hd800...this is a more apt comparison sonically IMO...

regardless, i don't think they carry much in the way of IEMs much above the PFE 232; I don't think he has a demo set of 3003s about although I see he sells them....

I'll see what I can come up with... :-)

I'd sure hope is sounds better than the AKG3003. I already feel my old pair are better ;).

Well, planx and I did perceive the old 1Plus2 was better sounding than the akg k3003i. 

 

toads shoot me a pm, i'd like to visit headphonebar with you. We hold mini-meets there and we just held a mini-meet last Saturday.
