Yep I needed the funds to pay for the Heir 8As. I don't think it will be a downgrade in anyway ;).

Haha, you must have a lot of patience if you are going for the customs :P

 

Gavin said he will ship 1Plus2 sometime this week, so I should have'em within a week or so.

lol must be. I've wanted those 8As since the beginning of this year :P. I actually put a down-payment down that long ago to lock in my price. Now with that 25% off promotion I just had to get them. It's too much of a good deal to pass on and since I put a down-payment down already my price is even cheaper due to it. Figure it won't be too painful to wait since I got a very good IEM to tie me over until then.

Seems like the new Go DAP has started to really gather steam on herad-fi. I haven't bothered to keep up with it due to there being way to much on head-fi to keep up with. I did recently look into the sister product the Go DAP DD Socket 1 though as a CLAS alternative. Haven't really heard much from trusted sources concerning sound though.

Congrats on selling the IE80 lee. I've been trying to sell off some gear myself with little luck thus far. Guess I'll have to learn to be more patient and hope someone finally messages me who isn't trying to trade for a lower end gear.

Yeah I know the feeling. Some of these people tried low balling me on my UHA6 MKII. I'm like good luck. You won't find super low ball deals on this amp unless the person is really desperate. Pretty much audio gear tends to hold a good amount of value especially within warranty support period. Now after there is no warranty support of course I see the opportunity to low ball people. Generally speaking I take it as an insult in all honesty lol.

I think i need to visit your house while your at work lol - you own so much gear i want- the DX100, the triad amp, and soon the heir 8a's .

 

oh well - some iems around xmas are a possibility so that will be one down and 2 to go :)

Just got it...with the Apex Glacier...strange that I got them same time!!! (before with the V 3rd & Walkman F)

It's a great amp turock and she really opens up with lots of burn in. The DX100 and the T1 are a match made in heaven :P.

Off Topic:

Try to get yourself onto the DD tour that Musica Acoustics is sending around. I've listened to the difference between the original CLAS and DD and to me the original CLAS has a more agressive "bang smack in your face" kind of signature whilst the DD to be more mellow. This seems typical of AKM DACs though, even across different models. I haven't had a chance to compare the DD with the new CLAS -dB though (since both using AKM).
