elnero might be bit surprised by this post. I somewhat feel bad about this since it feels like I've back-stabbed him. We've been discussing about audio gears in general and he has generously offered for some advice, so the least thing I could have done was PM him and mention that I recently decided to get 1Plus2.
I had some spare money after selling my old Rane 57 and Pioneer DJM 909 so I decided to order 1Plus2, not because I am ignoring elnero's advice on shopping smart and finding better source; but because I just can't justify with expensive sources. I've been a long-time lurker of ABI, stuck with Clip, Sony, and iPods. I will definitely get around and try to widen my experiences with different sources sometime next month. Look at me, making excuses already.
I can't comment on how 1Plus2 sounds yet, but I can pitch in my 2 cents on the customer service. They are very sincere, friendly, and I feel satisfied doing business with them. At one point or another I actually felt bad because I kept changing my mind at unreasonable pace but they were very responsive and met my demands in a short period of time. I am not saying they are saints or anything, this a business not some charity work. But the amount of effort Gavin puts in to have have good communication definitely deserves some applaud.
There's only so much I can say, but that pretty much concludes my personal experience with Tralucent Audio.
There's already extensive amount of impressions on the thread, so I hope this helps for those who are curious how their customer service is like.
