They are including tips - S/M/L/XL inserts (not sure what shape - I am guessing normal oval shaped looking ones).

nk77 if you look at his online ebay store he has them in all options. Including all large, all small and all medium sizes. I got all large and they work perfectly for my needs. Indeed theses are the same tips (black ones) I bought a long time ago for my IE8s. Thing is with usage the texture actually changes on these tips. The oils from your ear will make them look shiny and the fit is even better for me once that happens. Guess the tips break in :P.

 

Edit: Wow listening to Black Hole Sun and noticing details I haven't noticed before (particularly in the background mids). Very nice. Also Super Buu theme song (lossless). Just sick ;).

Just finish 10 pages on the history of this iem. Still on the fence as some suggested that the treble region is not as bright as k3003. I don't find the k3003 harsh at all so I am not sure if I should give up a little for a better bass response. I came from Shure e500 and now have a phobia on lack of treble. After 3hrs on k3003, I switch to Shure just for sanity check and boy, that shure has some serious roll off on the treble. biggrin.gif

Yeah but that is treble roll off. There's a  big difference between smooth treble and rolled off treble. wink_face.gif One things I've noticed here on heafi is a lot of people mistaken bright sound for detail. When in fact that is not the case at all.

 

If anything you may consider waiting for more impressions before making the jump :).

I hope you are not referring to me since I did not once mention that brightness meant more detailed. I merely alluded to that fact that Shane suggested the AKG over the 1P2 for critical listening and for finesse and precision which suggested to me as being more detailed. Lee then mentioned that all the detail is there in in the 1P2 as long as you are listening to them. I don't think he said that there is any 'lack in treble'.

 

Was wondering what happened to this thread. Lee you compared them to FitEar 334s?! Or Shane or anyone for that matter? Perhaps more impressions are in order if you have the time.....please darthsmile.gif

No not you ;). I could have had an opportunity to demo them out but that would have been in a rush and I am not that desperate to hear them. I'll only be able to demo the Miracle now since the owner is returning his pair of 334s and instead opting for the Miracle.

 

Anyways when will you have your pair? Do you have anything to compare them to?

you guys can argue neutral or bright or perceived detail till the cows come home,it'll still be a matter of preference and relative amt of hf freq hearing left (though I guess it's a discussion about 6-10khz mostly, not treble extension or brightness past 10khz)

lol I love your second point in that statement and it is a very true factor in this day and age. So much noise pollution damages many peoples hearing and they don't even now it. Treble happens to be the most damaging and is the first to start going in our hearing.

Lol the cows have come home since there really wasn't any argument; was there Lee? Have you decided on a purchase? Perhaps you can contact Tralucent AUS rep  for a demo since you live in the South - I never bothered asking. I think he might be close to you though I am unsure whether he has a demo model?

ummm we talking about me and Chong from Tralucent aus? South? Wuh?
They currently don't have a demo. If they did, I would've reviewed and or bought it (much easier to when you have it for a few days to decide vs another hybrid (well, AF78 and Merlin)) (and we're all hanging out in the cosmic audio thread hoping it's the answer to all our cheap hybrid dreams biggrin.gif )

Hey mate. Yeh I meant Southern part of Australia relative to me. Thought Chong might have one (since he is closer to you I suppose) but I remembered that Lee stole that demo already tongue_smile.gif. Do you have access to the other hybrids you are considering or will have access to?

I tend to get my most memorable moments at low volume listening. For some reason pumping it up is fun but the fun doesn't last long and I don't find satisfaction in having to pump up the volume. I'll do it once in a while but not all the time. Plus when my ears are saying its time to turn the volume down I listen.

Plus when your IEMs are comfy enough to fall asleep with lol. I never would have thought the MDR-7550s would be so comfy to sleep with :P. The IE80s still hold the crown though since I can sleep on my side with them in. The entire driver just sits in my ears flush.
