Might want to wait a little while...I'm getting a nice little beast in soon.... wink_face.gif

How long?  Don't think we can hold on to the BHA-1 and Mjolnir forever.

Did anyone that went to this meet get to listen to the Minute EL34 SE from SAC Thailand?  I know it was there but haven't seen a word about it.  It seems to have good impressions from it's own thread, but their profusion in the U.S. market is limited so any additional info is appreciated.

My guess is it was just overshadowed by a lot of the other great/more hyped gear at the meet.

FYI - Meet Accounting.

  • The total costs for the meet were $2927.88 (not including any freebies provided by volunteers and organizers)
  • The total receipts were $3093.59. Almost one-third of this was from significant donations (a big thanks to Jude, MisterRogers, Tehmom, Rubenpp, LFF, Asr, Teufelshunde, LFF, and a few others who I know I forgot to mention.)

So we have an overage of $165.71. We have a couple of options:

  1. Donate to charity of choice
  2. Save up for a mini-meet
  3. Donate to HF

I'll let the masses decide. biggrin.gif

Mini meet or donate to the 2 day meet next year. Anything could help get us out.

Used to by pizza and beer for Jude, MisterRogers, Tehmom, Rubenpp, LFF, Asr, Teufelshunde, LFF, the few others you forgot to mention, and of course you purrin.  Thanks again for putting it all together and making it happen.  I had a great time!

Well while it was there I think I listened to it the most, I can not give a great review on it because I only got to hear it the one day for say in total about 30 minutes.

However I will say this, the set up was the minute amp and a pair of HE-6's and there was a lot of HE-6's there and I listened to them all. I listened to Hotel California on all of them because that seems to be a popular song that everyone had. Anyways, when I heard this song on that Amp with he HE-6 i knew where I wanted to end my headphone experience with, The headphones were sweet and succulent through the AMP. I will buy the amp one day and then i will be done buying things forever.

This is an easy decision. The funds should be put towards a raffle. The winner gets airfare to hang out with Jude for a week!!! I'm PMing jude now to confirm the details.

That was mine, and IMO it wasn't overshadowed by anything smily_headphones1.gif

I'm trying to wrap up a review. Should be soon.

Thanks for the feedback.  I've been following the Minute EL34 first look thread and will keep a lookout for any further reviews.
