Consumer Bass Headphones/Earbuds

Hi,

I am looking for a pair of headphones/earbuds that have some really strong bass. I listen to Rap/Hip Hop.  I bought a pair of Monster Turbine Gold Pro ($350), because i read they were great for bass. After 1 week, i returned them, and learned the difference between Audophile Bass, and Consumer Bass.

I am looking for a pair of headphones/earbuds with muddy, overpowering consumer bass, as this is what I like.

Anyone have any recommendations? I heard Sony's were great for consumer bass, but not sure which ones I should be going for. I'm open to suggestions from any brand. My budget is $400.

Thanks,

Well you def don't need to spend hundreds of dollars for muddy bass. I'd suggest the $20 jvc ha-fx1x.

Sony XB500s. They have more bass than any of the Beats models I've heard, and can usually be found for $50 or less if you look hard enough.
