That sums it up. While the DJs bass does work with many genres, more than any other "basscan" out there, is can still be a tad plentiful for my taste.

If you listen to mostly EDM, I'd go Sig DJ. For a better all-rounder with a tad more sub-bass, and slightly brighter highs with richer mids, reach for Sig Pro. It's great.

I love my Edition 8's except for one little thing:  they are a bit "harsh" in the uppers.

Which of the Signature's (DJ or PRO) would be the closest to giving me it all: The Edition 8 sound with a just of bit of high end "taming?"

I would go for the Signature PRO. It should have nearly the same bass, mids and lower treble than the EDITION 8. But the upper treble is far better damped. The DJ has a noticeable bass boost, that does not influence the mids .

Seriously?  Build quality worse than the D2K/5K/7K.  Thought that was 'fixed'.

+1 Sig DJ might be the most durable headphone I have seen.

I know you have had great personal experience with M-100 durability.  M-100 does have a few potential weak spots, like the cups.  Sig DJ is like a tank, if a tank was made of highly durable plastic.

LOL! ;-)

When I saw a wing-tip crack on mine, I KNEW there was going to be problems... Still, once the XL Pads are released, I'd probably buy them again...

Is the signature will be suitable for BRYSTON bha 1, anyone heard this system

Since the Bryston is very neutral, very clean and very detailed it fits the DJ perfectly.I hope you didn't get the Bryston just for them since that would be quite a bit overpowered. wink.gif
