a true artist never reveals his face or inspirations... however, I'll share a few some day down the road so I can explain every angle of our designs.  I don't think many artists have done this?

From what I know, V-MODA devices are made to last 'forever'.

Val, thanks. I just saved one of those pictures.

p.s - Val, after looking at Jude's unboxing gallery of Sony MDR-1R  (Silver), I've started to really crave V-MODA's stand. Tip: Make sure the HP hanger doesn't put stress on the soft belly of the headband (the part that touches the hanger.) Instead of going with a hanger with sharper edges (the part that holds the HP) like Sony's stand, I would go with more rounder edges. I think it would put less stress on the belly of the headband.

Looks great, 2 questions:

1. How do they sound?
2. How much do they cost?

I noticed a difference between the model sent to CNET and the model sent to AnakChan.

Notice that there's no model designation on the CNET model?

What volume level have you found works best for burn-in?

A general rule for dynamic headphones is normal listening volume. The goal is to break-in the headphones, not to stress the drivers.

Edit: I should add that I am firmly in the "listen as they burn in" camp, although I may let them keep playing as I take a break for dinner. In my experience, most of the significant burn-in takes place in the first ten hours or so. Improvements, if any, are subtle after that.

This. It seems like your VAMP was obsolete as soon as it was released because the iPhone 5 is a different size than the previous versions.
