Hello, I just got some ATH-M50's for my first pair of nice headphones and they sound pretty darn good. I could go for a tad more bass though so I was wondering what amp would be the best for about $50.
I have been looking into the fiio E6 and E11.
Since I have never seen them in person I am not sure of the size exactly but I would like to just strap it to the back of my older 80 gig ipod classic and pretend to myself that is just one unit since I dont really pocket it ever but carry it in a backpack.
Thanks for your input in trying to help me get the best sound possible out of the headphones.

Thanks for your input in trying to help me get the best sound possible out of the headphones.I'm a Fiio E11 fan, but the E6 should easily be able to drive the ATH-M50.

E11 is the better amp for your application. it will strap beneath your ipod easily having a smaller foot print. Considering you toss it in your backpack I would go for E11. The only problem I can see is the volume dial getting bumped in your bag though it's stiff enough to stay where you put it.
