Worried about fake ESW9

Hi guys,

 

I’ve been doing a lot of research on the ESW9 and almost about to buy it. However, I came across a lot of posts in this forum about fakes and am very worried. There are used sets going for about $170 on Amazon warehouse deals.

Is it safe to get these? I don’t live in the US so returns would be a hassle.

 

On a separate note, are there alternative headphones to the ESW9 that are open, portable, with the same type of sound signature?

I got mine a couple weeks ago from Amazon and it was the real deal.

Kimchee, did you buy new or used?

 

I'm not worried about the New sets, but Used is a different matter.
