After reading this thread for a bit - I was going to ask just this question (as I recently acquired an A1) - are we certain the Glove has love? (true balanced out)

I have a number of balanced equipment - and I have blithely gone on thinking that they were, of course, balanced...

Now I need to look up some more info on my purchases - lol

Anyone see a poseur?

CEntrance GloveAudio A1 (SE & Balanced)

Cypher Labs Thoerem 720 (SE & Balanced)

ALO The International+ (SE & Balanced)

ALO RxMK3+ (SE & Balanced)

ALO The Island (SE & Balanced)

Ray Samuels The Intruder (SE & Balanced)

Can't speak for the others but the Gloveaudio is a true balanced amplifier. One indication is the power specs. They should be higher when using balanced. The glove can drive a LCD2 balanced. Single ended, not so much.

Unfortunately don't know about the others.

I would suggest you pay attention to the power specs. A balanced amp like the Glove may actually put out less power than a single ended amp like the Hi-Fi M8. I'm not saying this is the case because I don't know, but if it is, you won't really get any better sound balanced in that case.

i have both the glove and the M8...the M8 drives my LCD-3F and HD800's better than the glove and is to my ears the better sounding product...that said the glove is obviously more convenient
