The Centrance HiFi M8 thread - Page 353

You could feed another amp with your M8.  I forget the settings to get "line out", but it can be found somewhere in this thread.  If you're going full desktop, I do love Audeze cans on the Schiit Mjolnir...

Are you sure? Because his M8 has only xlr balanced output.

yeah i can see that. But they say that the separate amp and dac unit is still better than 2 in 1 unit. This m8 is not bad but it is still missing something that i need to seek more. I can't figure out until i have a chance to pair it with another amp/dac unit

You don't get it:regular_smile : it CAN'T be paired with another gear such as DAC or AMP because it doesn't have such function. M8 was created for the sake of more or less portability;)

If you don't like Centance, just get rid of it. Sure, there is definitely something that beats this amazing dac/amp, but that thing should be huge and only for home listening. For now, centrance M8 - the end of the game for listening to music on the go

Yes I'm quite sure.  But the confirmation is somewhere in one or both of the M8 threads.  FYI, his M8 also accepts 1/4" out at the center of the centers of the XLRs.

But a neat thing about his M8 and the Schiit Mjolnir is that he could go dual XLR to dual XLR, then just set the proper impedance and volume.  Schiit sells interconnects for that.

But that's just one man's opinion.  Always audition if you can...

Ah, yes of course, forgot about the 1/4 connects and of course you are right with the XLR interconnects.

Cheers,
