I think we should offer the raised one, choose the stronger option with more longevity and be done with it.

Personally, I couldn't care less about the bands. Over the years I have acquired so many bands I have a basket full of them in my audio closet. Innies, Outies, Outies, Innies............ Can't we all just agree to get along? :)

On the blog, CEntrance has stated it is going with the outties.  No more discussion about them (unless awesome like Wormdriver's post) is necessary, IMHO.

My new focus is on delivery dates.  Really hoping for a pre-NCAA tournament release, as I am traveling for a week and would love to have this along.

Choosing the raised one because it's more durable is supported, and understandable.

Aesthetic wise, more people do prefer the inset. However, if we have enough time and resources, why can't we have inset bands in a more durable form?

A more durable rubber? An extreme example would be to use D3O material.

I'm not suggesting CEntrance spend more time with the rubber band choice. In an ideal situation, perhaps a better 'band' supplier can be considered. Or maybe other band materials or rubber grade can be explored. Even a more durable raised band design should be a plus.

Hmmm... that sounds like something Michael Goodman would write...

Do we know what the current eta is approx? I know it has been 1st quarter, but anything more accurate??
