Sup folks.

I can't really decide right now. Since I own Earsonics EM4 and Futuresonics EM already. I planning to get my last IEM. F111 and 334 are the hard choice for me right now. I don't know which one has the further different compare the 2 custom iems I have.

 Please give me some suggestions.

Ya I know. But since I already heard a lot of IEM, and trying to get a fitear choose from 111 and 334. basshead.gif

yeah i'm looking at the fitears as well, and from what i've read so far,....

334 for if you want your music to sound nice, ie bad recordings might not sound so bad but good recordings will be stellar.

111 for clinical, ie bad recordings will sound bad and good recordings will sound good.

I have and love Earsonics' EM3's and they make bad recordings sound ****, so i'm looking at the 111's as a back up/second pair that can make bad recordings sound bad. looks like they'll make bad recordings stand out a bit more than the EM3's.

Like you said 111 is not at the same level with 334 then. 334 seems way way way better than 111.

And I use IPC ( most music are AIFF) + HPP1 which won't sound bad at all.

So you are saying that 111 might be a better option? According the price too?

i can't say the 334 is better than 111 or F111 better than 334 because their sound sign are not the same

334 has better mid range which is really smooth and a little bit bassy low range ( for my taste ) with

111 has better treble than 334 however , 111 feel a bit dryer than 334 in mid , 111 also has less bass than 334 and sound more balance , but with the bad record music , 111 is going to give you a nightmare ;))

I found the highs on the 111 a bit screechy with a bit of volume when i tried them in store with my hp_p1.

Kind of bad news, cuz I use hpp1 too. Price of 111 is quite acceptable but 334 is pricey for sure. Which if I go for 334 I must save some money for I get it. If 111, I can just order it right now. But this decision is quite hard to make. confused_face_2.gif

I mean the feeling you talk about 334 quite simillar compare the feeling I listen to my EM4.

111 seems pretty well then.

i think you just sold me on the 111's :P as that's pretty much what I'm looking for.

but i'm gonna get myself a pair or ER4's just to see what all the fuss is about, while i wait for a bit more feedback on the 111's.

i've only got the EM3 with Twag so i can imagine the EM4 to sound a bit better to what i've got,... but from whats been said about the 334's i think vocals might come a bit more forward, and the highs might be brighter, bass perhaps the same amount?

they could sound very similar but they could sound very different,... not helpful i know :P

Yesterday I have compared em4 with 334, em4 has brighter treble and cymbal extension is better but still not causing fatigue. Both of them has good mid sounds but I found em4 more lush and fluid, on 334 the mid is having more weight on lower mid, making the drum sound is quite impressive. Bass sounds in term of quantity is about the same but 334 has better texture and more controlled, so IMO 334 is better on bass section. Sound stage em4 has wider and taller making me having more headphone like experienced. For sound perspective I still choose em4, but since 334 is universal IEM I think 334 is making really good selling point, such as better built quality (solid, titanium bore, luxury looks), easier to purchase and better resale value.

The TG 334 has 3 bores, and the middle one (for treble) is the titanium bore / sound tube. FWIW, one person who has the custom version (MH334) found the universal version (TG 334) better sounding.
